Anderson Center for the Performing Arts

Since opening its doors in 1985, the Anderson Center has built a reputation as the premier performing arts venue in the region, hosting upwards of 175 performances and 100,000 guests annually. Programming ranges from world-renowned symphonies to student soloists, pop and rock concerts to dance troupes, opera to ballet, international theater to undergraduate showcases, and just about everything in between. The crown jewel of the Anderson Center is the 1,170-seat Osterhout Concert Theater, which uses retractable walls and sliding windows to morph into an amphitheater during summer months, allowing an additional 1,500 guests to enjoy performances from outside under the stars. Additional facilities include the more intimate Watters Theater – which seats 558 – and the Chamber Hall – which seats 408. In addition to welcoming world-class touring productions throughout the year, the Anderson Center serves as the main performance venue for the Binghamton University Music and Theatre departments.

Broome County Forum Theatre

Built in 1919 with a seating capacity of 1,527, the Forum is home to the Broadway Theatre League, Binghamton Philharmonic Orchestra, and Tri-Cities Opera.  The Forum also hosts concerts, family shows, comedians, and local dance groups.

Goodwill Theatre/The Schorr Family Firehouse Stage

The Mission of Goodwill Theatre Inc. (GWT) is to create and operate a dynamic regional performing arts and conference center with a professional training academy that will enrich the lives of our residents and visitors through education, events and performances.

GWT opened its first performance venue, The Schorr Family Firehouse Stage at 48 Willow Street in Johnson City, NY 13790, in October of 2007. Currently, we offer over 65 performances each season at the Schorr Family Firehouse Stage. Visitors enjoy comedy, classical, cabaret, kids shows and more.

In 2010, the stage in Endicott’s George W. Johnson Park was dedicated. The stage has become a center for local entertainment with performances and events associated with groups including the Endicott Performing Arts Center, the Tri-Cities Youth Singers, GUSTO-A Taste of Italy, and numerous musical bands.

Visions Federal Credit Union Veterans Memorial Arena
