A Feast of Words: Poetry Workshop and Open Mic

The Binghamton Writers Project hosts a poetry workshop, open mic, book raffle, and reception. Free and open to the public.
In a Poetry Workshop from 12-1pm, writers Sam Corradetti and Matthew Midgett will lead workshop participants through a poetry-writing exercise. Beginning and practiced poets alike are welcome to this workshop that celebrates creativity, language, and community collaboration. In an Open Mic & Reception, from 1-2:30pm, community members are invited to share poems and short prose. Workshop participation not necessary to share. Hosted by writer Jordan Franklin.
