In this 90-minute workshop, internationally published poet and Binghamton resident, Samantha Terrell will guide participants in a discussion of the role of poetry in society throughout history, ways in which poetry influences our personal interactions, and writing poetry with purpose and tact. Through guided prompts, participants will have the opportunity to read, write, and share poetry with fellow writers. Each participant will receive a copy of Terrell’s 2024 collection, Delta Function (Alien Buddha Press). Come join us for an afternoon of discussion, writing, and refreshments!
