See Jupiter Before You Hear Jupiter

The KOPERNIK Observatory & Science Center is partnering with The Binghamton Philharmonic for a Jupiter observation before and after the ASCEND concert on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the Forum Theatre, where Symphony No. 41 (Jupiter) by W. A. Mozart will be played. Telescopes will be set out across the street from the Forum Theatre.
6:15pm-7:30pm: public viewing of Jupiter and four of its 79 moons, Saturn and a Waxing Gibbous Moon
9:30pm / at conclusion of concert: public viewing of Jupiter and the moon.
Other Notes: This event is FREE and open to the public and the viewing is weather permitting. There will also be a wheelchair accessible telescope. The ASCEND concert: Symphonic works of Wagner, Mozart, Montgomery with be on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 7:30pm at the Forum Theatre. Click here to purchase tickets for the concert.
