The Broome County Historical Society Presents
“The History of Diners in Broome County and the Southern Tier” by Michael Engle

Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. with light refreshments at 6:15.

The program will be held in the Ballroom of Phelps Mansion Museum 191 Court Street, Binghamton, NY
on Zoom at  https://www.broomehistory.org/programs

Parking is available behind the Museum and in the Broome County Public Library lot.

Mr. Engle has been visiting and researching diners for 25 years, from the lunch wagons of the 1890s, through the silver diners of the 1950s, to what we see today.  He is an Education Specialist in Mathematics at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy.

The meeting is free and open to the public.
