Mrs. Claus will be the first to admit she is the real driving force at the North Pole, so it makes sense to get in a good word with her heading into the big holiday. Visit all the animals at the zoo that really enjoy the winter, like the endangered American Red Wolf, Snow Leopard, Arctic Fox and Red Panda, to name a few! This event, including refreshments, comes with regular zoo admission!

Halloweekend Family-Friendly Halloween-themed Weekend: October 24-25 @ 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. Last admission at 3 p.m. daily.
It’s all about “Things That go ‘Bump’ in the Day!
Ross Park Zoo is suddenly spellbinding for two days of family-friendly Halloweekend tricks and treats from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m October 24 and 25.
Come in costume, admire the dastardly decorations, pause to play great ghostly games like Zombie Brain Bowling and Snake-Head Ring Toss, make creepy crafts like flying bat pop pockets and werewolf masks, learn the truth about ‘scary’ animals like vultures, snakes and wolves and fill your trick-or-treat bags with candy and prizes.
Halloweekend is $10 for non-members age 2 and up, free for members and children under 2.
Ross Park Zoo’s Mother’s Day Artisan/Farmers Market: May 11 @ 12 p.m.- 4 p.m.
Do your last minute Mother’s Day shopping, or bring mom to shop at Ross Park Zoo’s second annual Mother’s Day Artisan/Farmers Market with over a dozen vendors under our picnic pavilions at the entrance to the park on 60 Morgan Road. You’ll find everything from hand-crafted jewelry and soaps to fresh-baked bread and home decor items. Before or after you shop, head down to the Ross Park Zoo to visit some of our animal moms, like Kaya the Sand Cat and Zoe the Prehensile Tail Porcupine. Moms get into the zoo free all weekend! The zoo is open daily from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. with the last admission at 3 p.m.
