In Greater Binghamton, as in communities across the country, the Convention & Visitors Bureau has three primary responsibilities:
To encourage visitors to discover the historic, cultural and recreational opportunities available throughout the County.
To encourage groups to hold meetings, conventions, sporting events and conferences in Greater Binghamton.
To assist groups with meeting/tournament preparations and while their group is in progress.
A convention and visitors bureau does not organize meetings, conventions, sporting and special events, but guides planners and visitors to attractions and services that result in a positive BING experience.
