Purple Pets for Prevention Parade

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month which has long been represented by the color purple. Come out on the first Friday of October, October 6th, at 6pm with your well-behaved pet dressed up in purple accessories and clothing! Join us and our partners as we raise awareness for intimate partner violence and show our support for survivors!

October 20th is Wear Purple Day for Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Crime Victims Assistance Center & their community partners will be showcasing our purple along with our pets on a short Pets for Prevention Parade in downtown Binghamton. Starting in front of the Federal Building on the Corner of Henry and Washington Street, we will take a short walk aimed at raising awareness for domestic violence and showing our support for victims and survivors.
