Corporate Challenge 2024

We’re back for a second year in-person! Promote camaraderie and team building in your company by signing up for the YMCA Corporate Challenge. Each year dozens of local businesses and hundreds of their employees join the Y at SUNY Broome. Points are awarded to the top 15 finishers in each of the three company divisions. Trophies are awarded to the top 3 finishers in each Corporate and Individual category. Have a spirited group? Bring the decorations, design your team shirts, and have a blast cheering on your co-workers!
EVENT DETAILS
> Date: Thursday, June 13, 2024
> Location: SUNY Broome
> Time: The first race starts at 5:15 p.m.
CHOOSE YOUR RACE
> 5K Road Race: A 3.1 mile race around campus. *No walkers due to scheduling
> Predicted Mile: Participants pre-register the time they predict it will take to cover 1 mile. Participants can walk or run. Winners are chosen based on their closest predicted time.
> Relay Race: 3 team members each cover the 1 mile course. 1 team member must be female and 1 team member must be over the age of 40; This can be the same person.
> Executive Mile: A 1 mile road race open to senior staff members. (Only 2 participants per company will score.)
REGISTRATION
> Register by May 26, 2024 to make sure you receive your event t-shirt on time.
> Registration closes on June 10, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.
> Current full-time and part-time employees, along with their immediate family members are eligible to participate.
COST
> Cost is per individual and event
> Before May 27, 2024: $25 for the first event, $15 for each additional event
> On and after May 27, 2024 prices increase by $5
