Brews, bites, and belly laughs will be all around at the inaugural CROOKED MOUTH COMEDY FESTIVAL this September. Following the success of many showcases and comedy open mic nights, the Crooked Mouth Brewery has become a hot spot for local New York comedians.

The Crooked Mouth Comedy Festival is from September 19 to September 22 at the Crooked Mouth Brewery in Endicott, NY. This year’s lineup includes over 40 comedians such as who have performed on stages and in comedy festivals nationwide and on NBC’s AMERICA’S GOT TALENT.

The festival kicks off on Thursday, September 19 headlined by BRIAN ENCK. Brian is a comedian local to Syracuse, New York. Friday, September 20 is headlined by Hudson Valley based comedian, ANDY MCDERMOTT. Andy McDermott has performed at the O+ Comedy Festival, Woodstock Comedy Festival, and has opened for comedians including Kyle Kinane, Big Jay Oakerson, Paul Virsi, and Eddie Brill.

Saturday, September 21 has 2 shows. The first show is headlined by ROB STANT. Stant is a comedian and podcaster based in Philadelphia who was a semi finalist on Philly’s Phunniest. He’s best known for viral clips on TikTok and his comedy special Bobby Boy is out now. The second show is headlined by Writer, director, and comedian JIM SEARCH. Jim Search was a semi-finalist on Standup for Diversity on NBC. He’s appeared at comedy festivals including the Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin TX, the Milwaukee Comedy Fest, and the Hoboken Comedy Fest. His comedy album Upstate Understandings is out now.

There’s a special hangover brunch show on Sunday, September 22. There will be a one time brunch menu and drink specials. The Sunday Hangover Brunch show will close out the festival with DOOGIE HORNER as the headliner. Multi-talented artist and comedian, Doogie Horner, America’s Got Talent semi-finalist, as an underdog who rose up even with a crowd of people booing at him. His comedy special Dad Max, filmed in his hometown of Philadelphia, is available on YouTube. AV Club Staff picked Dad Max as a Staff Pick. His book The Adventures of Invisible Boy is out now.

Crooked Mouth Comedy Fest is organized by Stephen Brown, a comedian based in Binghamton. Stephen is a community man supporting local punk rock music as well as his fellow comedians. Stephen began performing stand-up comedy in 2021 following a date night at an open mic with a friend. He hosts a twice-monthly comedy open mic night and monthly comedy showcase Crooked Mouth Brewing Company and hopes to continue to bring more laughter to Western New York.
