Join the Phelps Mansion Museum for its newest series, Hands on History Workshops.
A Hands-On History Workshop for kids is an interactive experience where history comes to life through creative activities. Instead of just learning about the past through lectures, children get to engage their senses—seeing, touching, and even making historical artifacts or crafts inspired by different time periods.
Each workshop would start with a brief, engaging story about the historical period, followed by a hands-on activity where they create something tangible. This not only enhances learning and retention but also sparks curiosity and makes history fun!
The theme for March will be Women’s Suffrage
These workshops are recommended for kids 8-12 years old
Admission is $3 per child
