Interested in Binghamton’s local history? Looking for opportunities to volunteer and meet new people? Come learn about Binghamton HistoryForge, a digital project that brings the city’s history to life by mapping its people and places. HistoryForge relies on volunteers to transcribe historical census records that power its open-access interactive map, where users can explore Binghamton’s rich past.
