History Happy Hour- Treasures from the Vault
March 21 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Treasures from the Vault
It’s a room full of memories – a vault – filled with thousands of photographs, letters, documents and other artifacts. Each one represents an event in Broome County’s history, and each one tells a story.
In this program, Broome County Historian Roger Luther picks out a few of these items and shares the memories they represent – like Stow Park’s “Champion of the Universe,” West Endicott and the Great Air Race, Glenn Miller at the Pavilion, and the Ragtime Music of Riverside Park. We’ll hear a few of the stories – and the songs – from Broome County’s past.
