Much Ado in the Garden
July 16 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Free
Set amidst the beauty of Cutler Botanic garden in full bloom, Much Ado in the Garden promises a captivating experience for attendees of all ages.
Immerse yourself in the world of English Renaissance as you enjoy a day filled with live music, theater performances, and an array of costumed characters. The festival will feature performances by the Madrigal Choir of Binghamton, an abridged version of Shakespeare’s “As You Like It” by the Half Light Theater Company, Morris Dancers, and a lute performance by Allen Lutins.
While you enjoy the garden, children and adults can participate in face painting, arts & crafts provided by the Dept. of Public Art, games, scavenger hunts with prizes, and even a costume parade. There is much more including spinning demonstrations, vendors, raffles, and plant sales.
Admission to this event is free; however, donations are kindly encouraged to support the event and Cutler Botanic Garden.
Much Ado in the Garden has been made possible, in part, by a generous project grant from the Broome County Arts Council’s United Cultural Fund.
