He loves me? He loves me not. She loves me? She loves me not. Murder at the Howard
Johnson’s is a fast paced, laugh-riot of a farce written by two titans of comedy, Sam Bobrick
(creator of the TV show “Saved by the Bell”) and Ron Clark (co-writer of the movies ‘Revenge of
the Pink Panther’ and ‘High Anxiety’).

“Do we have the right to take the life of another human being, Mitchell? Of course not, Arlene,
that’s why it’s called murder!” With sitcom-style pacing and played totally for laughs this comedic
murder-mystery is much more humor than homicide.

Arlene Miller (Hillori Schenker) is a restless housewife seeking love and adventure in all the
wrong places but mostly in the arms of her lover (and dentist) Dr. Mitchell Lovell, D.D.S. (Mark
Durkee). Her hapless and clueless husband, used-car salesman, Paul Miller (John
Montgomery) also finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time when he arrives at the
Howard Johnson’s to purchase some stolen cars. Directed by BLAST Executive Director, Kate
Murray; this love triangle of a dentist, his lover and her husband all trying to kill each other
provides an evening of comic madness.

Murder at the Howard Johnson’s opens on Friday, September 16 th and runs for two weekends
Saturday, September 17 and Sunday, September 18th and again September 23 rd -25 th at the
