Photo Boot Camp: Landscape
September 13 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
$60
Landscape photographers are surrounded with all kinds of subject matter, natural, human-made, and sometimes a combination of both: a pristine snow-capped mountain or a dilapidated barn, a city street or a meadow of flowers, maybe a rushing stream rolling past concrete walls full of graffiti. The landscape might change, but photographic fundamentals remain constant. How those fundamentals relate to your vision as a landscape photographer is what this two-session class is about.
Topics include:
- Exposure Triangle: ISO, Aperture and Shutter Speed
- The Importance of Manual Mode
- Understanding Your Exposure Meter
- Depth of Field of Focus
- White Balance
- Composition
- Filters – When to Use and When Not to Use
- Tripod
- RAW or JPG or Both?
Designed for DSLR and Mirrorless photographers. This class is a great introduction to landscape photography and a very useful lead-in to the Photo Boot Camp: Fall Foliage workshop coming in October.
