Join the Phelps Mansion Museum and Southern Tier Actors Read for a reading of “The Memorandum” by Vaclav Havel.

Performances will be offered Friday and Saturday March 17th and 18th at 7 pm and Sunday March 19th at 2pm. Tickets are $15.00 and available for purchase at the door.  Cash or credit accepted.

About the play: 

A comedy about a company trying to be more efficient.  They decide to learn a new language -Ptydepe.  This leads to much chaos as the workers try to learn it. It was written by the famous Czech writer and statesman, Vaclav Havel who became the 1st president of the Czech Republic after the ‘velvet revolution’. It is directed by James Michalec.

This is a staged production by S.T.A.R. actors and young actors from Binghamton High School. It is indeed a comedy for our time!
