The Carousels of Broome County

Broome County has been called the Carousel Capital of the World. Over a period of fifteen years, from 1919 to 1934, six wood-carved carousels were installed in parks throughout the area. They were all gifts to the community, and there was one stipulation – that all rides would forever be free. This is the story of Broome County’s amazing collection of carousels, and how, when, and where they came to be.

Lunch is served at 12 p.m., Presentation begins at 1 p.m. – Reservations for lunch are necessary and can be made by calling 607-722-4873 by Monday, October 9th.

Admission: $25 for lunch and program $7 for program only (no reservations necessary if only attending the program)

Chicken salad on croissant 

Tomato Mozzarella Salad with balsamic vinaigrette on a bed of red leaf lettuce

Dessert: Apple Crisp

Alternate lunch: Tuna Plate (please specify at time of reservation)
