2024 workshop is FULL
The art of pysanky (egg decoration) is an ancient Ukrainian cultural tradition. This process uses special candle-heated writing tools to apply melted beeswax to the shell between colorful dye baths. This class will provide a full description of the necessary tools and techniques, as well as an introduction to the history and symbolism of the traditional colors and designs. Participants will complete an egg using the instructor-provided materials. All skill levels are welcome: beginner, intermediate and advanced designs are available.
