Business people and students alike have flocked in to try the popular “HOT Plate” which is modeled after the famed “Garbage Plate” of Rochester, New York. These “Plates” have been a Rochester tradition since 1918. The dish, which is the staple of Binghamton HOTS, is an assortment of cheeseburgers, hot dogs, home fries, macaroni salad or just about anything else the kitchen can cook up, all topped with HOT’s homemade Rochester style hot sauce.
The full menu is much more than just Hot Plates. Binghamton HOTS offers everything from burgers and hot dogs, subs and sandwiches, to home-made soups, salads and daily specials in a clean and inviting atmosphere. Catering is also available. Nestled on Gorgeous Washington Street, the restaurant is the newest addition to Downtown Binghamton and is filling a niche as somewhere downtown residents can get “great food…fast” as their sign suggests and college students and party goers can grab a late night bite. Binghamton HOTS has something for everyone.
