Established in 1875, Ross Park Zoo is America’s fifth zoo and is home to leopards, red pandas, African penguins, a Children’s Zoo and much more! Conservation is core to the work at Ross Park Zoo. As a partner with the US Fish and Wildlife Service, Ross Park Zoo is one of only 43 facilities in the US where you can see red wolves. As stewards of the natural world, Ross Park Zoo invites visitors to enjoy a picturesque stroll along the mile-long loop as you explore the zoo. The 147th season will bring new animals and new amenities including a new tram and picnic tent. Bring lunch and enjoy it under one of the park’s pavilions or grab a bite at the zoo’s concession stand and enjoy your lunch while observing one of the zoo’s Ambassador Animals in their new habitat located by the picnic tent. Listen in on one of the Daily Keeper Talks or explore new digital content by scanning QR codes throughout the zoo.
Ross Park Zoo now offers a tram on-site at all times, equipped with designated wheelchair spots.
