Spring Concert: Bravado and Beauty

Our final concert of the season, “Bravado and Beauty,” features our own Keith Alcius soloing on the Gregson Concerto for Tuba. Other selections are Coleridge-Taylor’s “Demand and Response,” Grant Still’s “Wood Notes,”  and an audience favorite, Beethoven’s “Egmont” Overture. Pre-concert talk at 6:15.

Fall Concert: “Sunset and Requiem”

BCO welcomes extraordinary vocal quartet Quince Ensemble to perform Requiem composed by Courtney Bryan, along with Romantic Era music for orchestra and voice, and the Brahms Tragic Overture. Quince premiered Requiem with members of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in 2021. Pre-concert talk at 6:15 p.m.
